malatapay resortMalatapay Beach Resort is hidden on the fine, sandy beach of Malatapay, Zamboanguita, Philippines just 30 minutes from the capital city of Dumaguete. You can enjoy swimming in its tropical-warm and crystal-clear waters. All cottages have a veranda, a big bed good for 2 persons, electric fan, and bathroom with shower. Cottages are also available for family vacations.

Fantastic views of the Malatapay Bay and the islands of Apo and Siquijor can be observed from the veranda. A variety of Asian and international cuisine can be found on our food menu.

We currently have 4 Single and 2 Duplex Cottages. One cottage can accommodate 2-4 persons. All Cottages are on the beach with a fantastic view of the islands Siquijor and Apo. These cottages are equipped with a comfortable bed and individual shower and toilet.

For those of you who like a hike once in a while, there are also many opportunities to do so. For example, you might want to visit the enchanting waterfall of Casaroro near Valencia.

twin lakesAlso just around the corner is the weekly Malatapay market. Every Wednesday morning, the fisherfolks and farmers of the adjacent communities come to Malatapay and sell their products. You should experience the crowdedness and variety of a Filipino market once in your lifetime!

You can make a wonderful daytrip to the so-called Twin-Lakes.

How to get there:malatapay resort rooms

Our Resort is located 20 km south of Dumaguete and oposite Apo Island. Dumaguete is the capital of Negros Oriental, one of the provinces in the Central Visayas.

Manila and Cebu City having an international airport. From Manila you can reach Dumaguete in only one hour flight. Take the domestic flight by Air Philippines or Cebu-Pacific-Air

From Cebu City there is one trip a day with the Oceanjet Fastferries to Dumaguete. This trip will take you only 3.5 hours. Departure from Cebu 6.20 am. Advice the taxidriver in Cebu City to bring you to the Pier1 Oceanjet.

Very easy and cheap is also the trip by bus. Every 20 Minutes leaves a bus from the Ceres Busterminal direktion Bayawan. Or give us a ring - if possible we pick you up in Dumaguete.
