Monarch Sands Resort is situated on a secluded cove, located North of the sleepy town of Siaton. Native style cottages made of Nipa, Bamboo and local materials face the blue waters of the Bohol sea. Each cottage has a large porch to watch the local fishermen sail their small Bangka boats out for the nightly catch. The string of a hundred lights fill the horizon as they cast their nets.

Rejuvenated by cooling, salt tinged, sea breezes, pampered by Monarch Sands smiling staff, our guests may decide to leave their blissfully relaxing hammocks and chaise lounges for exploration and activities in the lush, tropical countryside or many hued, blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.

GOLF OUTING Leisurely rounds played on a first class par 3, nine hole course nestled among colorful, jungle flowers and exotic plants.

HORSEBACK RIDING AND ATV RIDES For the more adventurous, explore the countryside and be greeted by cheerful, local country folk. Be prepared to be charmed by the adorable Filipino children who will wave and shout their happy greetings.

HIKING If tramping through the countryside is your pleasure, the unspoiled, pure air of the area encompassing the Monarch Sands Resort will invigorate and restore your spirit. Join a local Hash House Harrier Chapter on their monthly hike.

Accommodations

Monarch Sands Dive Resort Cottages are located on the coral cliffs of Siaton. Made from local materials they all have two double beds, and a magnificent view of the bay and beach. Rates are p900 a night.

Beach Accommodations

Four bamboo cottages nestled in the coral cliffs of the Bohol sea. Each with two double beds and a beautiful view of Monarch cove.

Two Dive cottages. Located on the beach next to our PADI dive shop. Walk out your door and snorkel or dive in 2 minutes. Each has one double bed. P700 a night. (construction to be completed by 2008 season)

Restuarants

Monarch Sands Restaurant strives to give not only great tasting food, but value for your pesos. If there is a dish that is not on the menu that you want to try, please ask. We will attempt to create it to your liking. We serve the best hamburger in the Philippines, Chicago style Hot Dogs, and Filipino cuisine.

Activities at Monarch Sands

Snorkeling
Monarch Sands Dive resort offers several excellent areas to snorkel.
Take our 1/2 day Snorkle trip.. Our pump boat, the KenKen 1, leaves at 9 AM on a 30 minute cruise to a secluded beach where you can see thousands of colorful fish and untouched coral. Return to the Resort for a free lunch prepared by our excellent staff. Underwater Cameras available at gift shop.

Diving
Dive several dive sites in our area or learn to dive from our excellent PADI certified Master divers. Monarch Sands Dive Resort offers classes for those that want to experience the fun of diving. Our skilled instructors have trained hundreds of students and are PADI certified Master Divers. Our large sandy beach is excellent for training. The gradual slope and sandy bottom creates the perfect training environment.

Kayaking
Enjoy the open water sport of Kayaking.

Horse Backriding
Enjoy a peaceful day of site seeing from atop a gentle horse. Especially bred for the climate and terrain. These sturdy animals will amaze you as they transverse the country side

Shelling 
Our beach offers a variety of small shells, washed ashore every day. Collect them and our staff will be happy to assist you in making a souvenir out of them. Excellent for necklaces and bracelets. We will create a memory to take home with you.
